Below are some magnificent & uncirculated $100 (Legal Tender) notes from the Government of Antigua & Barbuda. Thesea are among the World's First "Gold & Silver" Banknotes. These notes are part of a series of notes issued by Antigua in what is called the "Saga of Treasure Ships & Pirates".
These bills have a maximum mintage count of twenty thousand bills (20,000). Each note is done in heavily embossed, high relief details layered in (23k) Gold and (.999) fine Silver. These are official legal-tender, and they're authorized by the Government of Antigua in the official Government Gazette, Statutory Instruments (1987) No. 1, by the Minister under Section (4) of the Legal Tender Act of 1982 (No. 7 of 1982). These designed are approved by their Authority as a Limited Edition of (20,000). Library of Congress (No. 87-082147).
